The Costa Blanca on the Spanish Coast translates to white Coast and earns its name from the beautiful white sandy beaches on that part of the Spanish Coast. Boasting 360 days of sunshine it is a firm favourite with those seeking warm winters and hot summer sunshine. The vibrabt colours of the skies in Spain are what inspired me to paint. Just look at this winter sunset where the mountain looks as if it is erupting

And this view changes colour depending on what time of day it is or what time of year. The colours are always so different that inspiration to paint comes very easily.
Why Spanish Tiles
I first started painting in Spain during the lockdown and all I had to paint on were some old roof tiles. It started as something to do and when the results were pretty good it turned from a hobby to a business. Living outside for most of the year it is fabulous to have these vibrant tiles brighten up outdoor spaces. Remember home owners that do not live there permanently don’t have the luxury of colourful gardens.
If you haven’t visited the costa Blanca, make sure you add it to your list of places to visit one day. Who knows you may be inspired to pick up a paint brush.
